Klaus Parklift products save money by saving space. As well as giving you the freedom to be creative in your architectural design.
By implementing Klaus Parking just look at what we were able to do!
"To achieve the maximum potential of this small and narrow site, we had to avoid conventional cramped underground parking. Klaus Parklifts enabled us to provide eighteen parking places on grade level behind the ground floor commercial space."
These eighteen parking places right on the site enabled the owner to increase the size of the project, from 9 to 16 condominiums in downtown Toronto.
The Berkeleyan, 1910 Oxford Street, Berkeley California.
Without Klaus Parklifts:
This project would almost have become a parking garage with only 28 apartments, no retail space, and garages as the only parking facilities.
With Klaus Parklifts:
The number of apartments was increased to 56. By offering additional retail space the ground floor became much more attractive for shops and boutiques.
The original Berkeleyen, a residential development by Panoramic Interests, would have been a 28-unit project with 2 stories over a garage according to the City of Berkeley's parking requirement.
Given its excellent location, the developer, Mr. Patrick Kennedy, visualized a larger project. In cooperation with Klaus Parking Systems USA his dream became reality.
The Berkeleyan, 1910 Oxford Street, Berkeley California. A residential/commercial project adjacent to the University of California, near downtown Berkeley, BART and all other City conveniences is an excellent example of the enormous possibilities mechanical parking systems offer to architects and developers. By incorporation a Klaus triple stack parking the project now has 39 independently accessible parking spaces and the developer has been able to provide 56 residential units (instead of 28 originally) and an additional 4000 square ft of retail space.
